The Truth About Coffee

Well, I can see now is more and more people who like to have a cup of coffee every morning. But I'm still wondering if it's good or bad for our health? Last week, I read an article about "coffee", and today I want to share it with you:

The article helped you to answer some common questions about coffee. Is coffee good or bad for you? Is coffee dehydrating?... All of them depend on the dose, the amount that you take. But It's better for children to avoid it. Coffee does increase your blood pressure, but only for a few minutes. A lot of people think that coffe can help them to lose weight, but unfortunately, this doesnt work. The question "does coffee accelerate bone loss" is a little controversial. The writer suggested that If you're going to have a great deal of coffee, make sure you put some milk in your coffee.

controversial (adj): something that is controversial causes a lot of disagreement because many people have strong opinions about it.

My house in Seattle

Hi! How are you, everybody? Today I will tell you about my recent house in Seattle.
There are 3 connected houses in my host family. The first house is called The Loft, where my host family is living at. The second house is for boy students, called The Main, and I'm living in The Annex House. There are 5 people in my house. From the gate of the Annex, you can see a garden where has a lawn and plants a lot of beautiful flowers. As you enter the house, you can see the living room with a large TV, DVD and a suit of sofa, where my roommates and I always watch movies after school or a free time. In the back of the living room, there is a kitchen with a dining table and the large refrigerator which has a lot of my favourite food inside ^^, so I like that place most. There are 3 people in my house: 1 Chinese girl, 3 American girls and me, so my house also has 5 bedrooms. From the kitchen, when you turn left, you can see 3 bedrooms and a stair to go downstair where has a laundry and 2 remaining bedrooms. I live at the last room which is next to a bathroom. My room is always complicated, but It is the most place where I want to go back after school. From the window of my room, you can see the large garden where my host family grows some vegetables for our meal. Therefore, I like diner time, because we always have fresh vegetables and delicious food, which my host family prepares for us.
I love this house, my host family and my roommates also. They are very nice, and they've helped me a lot since I came to Seattle to get used to with this life here. I feel very comfortable and enjoy to live here.

Fitness

I've read the article about fitness. I think that's very helpful for Add Imageeverybody, so today I just want to share it. I'm sorry, but I lost that magazine. But that article is about fitness and health.
Physical inactivity is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease. All kinds of sports can gain eny health benefits and help your heart, such as swimming, cycling, jogging, skiing, aerobic dancing, walking, etc. Adults ages 18-65 should workout at least 30 minutes of 5 days of a week. Of course It also depends on each other's health, so everyone can choose suitable and moderate activities for themselves.
However, In my opinion, we all should get that exercises become our daily habits like washing face or brushing teeth...
moderate: neither very big nor very small, very hot nor very cold, very fast nor very slow....

My last weekend...

I had a great weekend with my friends. That was last Saturday. We decided to go fishing instead of some boring things like staying at home and watching TV. I dont remember the name of that place, but It took about 45 minutes to 1 hour to get there by car. That was the moderate lake, and there were a lot of people got there with their family. They were very nice. They helped us to find out worms, and they also pointed the place that had lots of fish for us. Actually, I dont like fishing. I think It's so boring, because I just have to stand and wait, so I'd prefer some activities more active. But I really had a lovely time. While some of my friends were fishing, others and I went around there sightseeing. We took a lot of beautiful and funny picture. It was so fun. After that, we caught about 7-8 fish, and we had grilled fish with Vietnamese style right there. After that, we went to super market to buy some furniture, because one of my friends just moved to a new apartment. We went to her new apartment and helped her to organize all of that. We also rented some DVD, bought popcorn, and watched that together. We talked to each other everything, from studying to family, love, life, etc. We didnt realize when we went to sleep either.
What do you think? A lovely weekend, wasnt it?

The celebrity who I admire

I think everybody've known the name "Susan Boyle" . Yes, she is a singer who became known when she sang "I Dreamed A Dream" on Britain's Got Talent Show. Actually, I've never admired any one before, just "like". I mean, when I see a nice movie, I like the actor of that movie, or when I hear a good song, I like that singer, but that all wasnt enough to make me to become their's fan. But everything was changed when I heard "I Dreamed A Dream" and knew about her story. This was such a moved song, and her voice was very soft, very tender also.
Become a popular person, you will have a lot of money, you will be known by many people in the world, but you will have lots of trouble also. You have to have perfect look, you have to get used to with paparazzi, and any your behavior or your story also will be spread all of magazine or newspaper. Susan Boyle is not exceptional. After all of that, she always got stress, especially she had to go to hospital to get psychological treatment. This also the most reason why I've never wanted to become famous.
I used to think that there was a relationship between celebrity and beauty, but let's see, Susan Boyle made a difference about that idea. In fact, she's old, and she dont have a hot body or a beautiful face like other famous people, but she made all the world have to admire because of her talent and her confident. Therefore, In my opinion, you can do everything that you want, as long as you have confidence and try to do it all your best.

Jackson doctors get scrutiny- The Seattle Times/ Sunday, July 5, 2009

Michael Joseph Jackson, the "King of Pop", one of the greatest entertainers of modern times, finally passed up on June 25, 2009. Last week, I read some information about one of the most suspect of his death on The Seattle Times. Now, I just want to share with you guys.
Los Angeles- Investigators are focusing on at least 5 doctors who prescribed drugs to MJ. They're also trying to determine whether or not the medications were prescribed correctly. A lot of drugs were found at MJ's house. One of those are bottles of the powerful sedative Diprivan which is a very dangerous drug, just supposed to be used typically in a hospital. Some bottles were full, others were empty.
Through some other article, In my opinion, I think MJ depended on drugs too much. Maybe he got stress of " being famous" or preparing for his concert in this July. But anyway, he always is "King of Pop". His legacy will continue forever... He will not be forgotten...
Dear Jacko!
THANKS FOR THE MOMENT THAT U GAVE TO US!!.... Rest in peace MJ!

Happy Independence Day ♥ ♥ ♥

Well. Hi everybody!!!
I guess everyone had a happy Independence Day, right?
I've been trying to type an entry, but my computer couldn’t connect to the Internet. Thank God It's better now, so this is time to put something on blog to share with everyone about my first-experience Independence Day.
At the beginning of that day, I thought that I was going to have a day as usual, and It might be a boring weekend. Because the day before that day, I had called my friends, but they also hadnt had any plan.
But I really had a happy time with my host family at night. All of their friends with children came to our house. The children and I try to put on a make up the house with a lot of color balloons, star garland and streamer. It was so beautiful. I also helped my host family to cook and prepare a BBQ party. There were a lot of delicious foods: smoked fish, fried fish and beef, mango salsa, cake, etc. After that, we played some games together, such as basket ball and a game that we tried to fight each other by throwing balloons with water inside. It was so very fun, we all got wet though. After that, they brought me to their friend’s house near the Lake Union. We climbed to the roof of that house to watch the fireworks. This was the first time that I’ve watched the firework from a roof, so I was a little bit scared, but the fireworks were really pretty nice and beautiful, so I was very excited also. After that, we also played our own fireworks. It was very fun, even I couldn’t stop laughing at that time. It seemed like we all didn’t want to return each other’s house.
Now, you can see how interested I was, right? I think I can’t forget my first 4th of July. How about you? Let me know your experience about that, ok ^^.
Bye!! See you later.
Love,

This is zin... check it out!!!!!!^^

Hi everybody! Now I just want to talk to you guys about myself for this first entry, so you can understand about me clearly, and maybe we'll be close friends some day ^^.
I'm Zin, and I come from Viet Nam, the beautiful country. And If you want to travel to VN, contact me, I'll be your personal guide with the cheap fee (haha just kidding, of course it's free). I've been studying in the U.S.A. since March, 2009. That means, I've always missed my parents and my younger sister a lot for over 3 months T_T. Actually, It was so bad at first, but anyway, everything is getting better now. I've got many lovely friends here. I've studied a lot from independent life. Especially, now I know how to cook good food for myself (hah I even hadnt known how to cook any dishes before i came here :p). Have you eatten "pho", the famous dishes from my country, that I am studying how to cook. I love "pho" so much, of course I love all of Vietnamese food too. Otherwise, Korean food, Japanese food are also my favourite food.

Have I talked to you guys about my hobby? Oh my god, I love shopping, shopping and shopping. I can spend all day for that. Some people said that I was really a shopaholic person. For example, when I feel bored, I love just to walk around all of store to see , although I dont want to buy anything , or even when I dont have much money left.

I've graduated high school in Viet Nam for 3 years. I really had had the extremely happy time. Although I had to get up early everyday, but anyway, I tried to fight my atractive pillow and my nice dreams to go to school to see my close friends and studied with them. I think I was good at math, physics and chemistry. I hated Sport and Literature. English was also the disgusting subject, although I had studied English for 5 years. But It is the most popular language, I understood I had to study it seriously, so I decided to go here to improve my English. I think It's better now. I hope I can take into the college soon, and I will take a business major. I want to work about business, and I want to be a sucessful business woman as my mom. I know I have to try my best by now to achieve my dream. Im sure :).

It seems I was babbling too much ^^. So, let's make friend with me, and then, you can understand about me more, and maybe, you'll be able to be the first person who taste my first "pho" hahahha.

Once again... Welcome to Zin's Bloggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!
